Okay… Week 4 & 5 is coming to you LATE! But hey, better late than never right?! Sometimes LIFE HAPENS and let me tell you I’ve been having some of the worst Mast Cell flare ups I’ve ever had. I’ve been beating myself up over the fact that this blog post is super late, but hey LIFE HAPPENS! I’ve been a bit off my meal plan (in the sense of eating healthy options- but not exactly planned as well) since some foods have been irritating me (onions / tomatoes / etc.)
Here is week 4, which was also my LAST week of my 30 Day Hammer program!
Week 4: Favorites included- my Shakes, Greek Salads with GF Pita Bread, Grilled Chicken Salads & TON’s of Fruit when I’m not feeling 100% as they’re all fairly low histamine options!
Let’s just say week 5 did NOT go as planned! I thought I was coming out of my flare but boy was I WRONG! I prepped zucchini noodle meat sauce and that backfired, as the tomato was giving me TON’s of histamine related reactions, so mid week I had to completely re-prep my meals but hey LIFE HAPPENS!
Week 5: Favorites included- A whole lot of WATERMELON, a healthier Mac & Cheese (recipe to come soon!), Leftover tacos over salad (THANK GOD I love salads, because they’re EASY & perfect for a flare up when I’m low energy). As well as plantains / eggs, berries and more salads!
The past two weeks didn’t go as planned, but hey LIFE HAPPENS & here I am showing up when I wasn’t 100%. Life with chronic is a crazy ride, but SO WORTH IT!
